Trip Overview

For those who live for the thrill of motorcycle travel, a journey through Bolivia promises an unforgettable adventure. Spanning 2,300 kilometers across the remote and untouched southwest of the country on a Yamaha Tenere 700 & Kawasaki KLR 650, this ride takes you through landscapes that feel suspended in time—where the spirit of the Wild West meets the breathtaking isolation of the Andes. Much of the journey unfolds at high altitude, climbing to nearly 4,400 meters, where the air is thin and every vista leaves a lasting impression.

The adventure begins in Santa Cruz, from where we head south toward the border, winding through a dramatic canyon that leads to Tarija, Bolivia’s renowned wine region. From there, we follow in the footsteps of the legendary outlaws Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid near Tupiza, the town where their story is said to have ended.

Next, we venture deep into the highlands to the surreal Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world. Its endless, shimmering white plains create an almost otherworldly landscape, where the horizon seems to stretch into infinity, offering perfect opportunities for photography and awe-inspiring moments.

From there, the journey continues to Potosí, home to historic silver mines that have been worked for over 500 years. Here, riders gain a rare glimpse into the harsh lives of Bolivian miners and trace the paths of another historic figure: Ernesto “Che” Guevara.

The return to Santa Cruz blends winding dirt tracks with open asphalt, offering a final taste of Bolivia’s dramatic landscapes. It’s a journey defined by history, adventure, and the raw beauty of an extraordinary country—one that will remain etched in memory long after the engines have cooled.

Ηighlights :
